2023 was a year of firsts for Go Wild. It was the first year we seriously ran backcountry packrafting trips. It was our first year of offering tours to the amazing Owyhee Canyonlands. And, it was our first year of incredible multi-sport, multi-destination tours to Colombia, South America. I’m feeling extremely grateful for the opportunities of 2023, super confident in our current offerings, and honestly, a little relieved that we won’t be adding anything big and new for some time now.
For 2024, we’re focused on maintaining and elevating the quality of our current trips and having as much safe fun as we can in the backcountry both here and abroad.

Colombia
Our first trip to Colombia was a huge success (you can read reviews here). We boated up the Amazon River and hiked through the jungle to take part in Indigenous rituals. We summited a 16,000’ volcano in the Andes and relaxed in natural hot springs. We rode horses to remote beaches and swam in the Caribbean Sea.

Packrafting
We’ve expanded our packrafting trips to include 2 introductory weekend group classes! So, if you’ve never been in a packraft before but curious about the prospects of taking a 6lb inflatable kayak anywhere you can imagine- hit us up!
We also have spots available on a Fly & Float Packrafting Trip down the Minam River for those comfortable with paddling their own boat in swift moving water.
And, of course we offer private custom trips on the Minam River, Alpine Lakes of the Wallowa Mountains, and in the Owyhee Canyonlands.
