Day 1

In morning, depart from one of the most classic cowboy towns in America: Pendleton, home of the famous Pendleton Round-Up. Follow an old stagecoach route through the heart of wild Oregon. Lunch is at your leisure but we recommend the small town brewery. Enter the high desert and arrive at your hot springs cabin for the night.

Day 2

Journey into the heart of cowboy country, taking a step back in time to visit once booming towns, now with less than 20 residents. Drink exceptional beer (if that's your thing!) and spend part of the day at one of the west's best wildlife and bird viewings refuges. Stay the night in rustic luxury at a working cattle ranch. Get some zzz's because it's up early tomorrow and on a horse.

Our favorite day! Take the classic loop to the top of the scenic Steens Mountains. Stop to fly fish, go on a hike, and enjoy nature.
