Help Protect the

Powder River, try local brews, and fly fish!

Powder River Pub Crawl & Urban Fly Fishing-
Restore the River

We teamed up with Powder Basin Watershed Council (PBWC) on this one-of-a-kind 2-hr tour that explores urban fishing and habitat restoration efforts along the Powder River through Baker City. In 2019 the PBWC received a grant to conduct an aquatic survey of the river, the first step in restoring the river to a high quality fishery, a move that will benefit the river, it's aquatic inhabitants, and recreationalists. Grab a rod, a pint (we start and end at local brew pubs), and jump into an urban fly fishing experience.

10% of proceeds go directly to the PBWC's restoration project fund!

Urban Fly Fishing & River Restoration on the Powder River Pub Crawl

This is our first collaboration with a non-profit and we are stoked on it! Not only do a portion of tour proceeds support Powder Basin Watershed Council's river restoration efforts but it's our chance to introduce you to our local fishing hole. And we get to do it with a rod in one hand and pint in the other!

A little disclaimer- if catching fish is your only concern, book one of our other fly fishing tours. The beauty of this tour is in how much it packs into 2 hrs- fishing, beer, river ecology, local lore.

This is a fantastic experience for those interested in ecology, fishing, or looking for a fun-filled two hours!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

What a great time we had and I would recommend taking this Fly Fishing class to anyone. Dan & Pat were courteous and knowledgeable and treated us so well. After the lesson, we ate a wonderful meal, including Rainbow Trout that we caught, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Give it a try!
